Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Louis "Lou" J. Galen (April 19, 1925 November 12, 2007) was an American philanthropist. Before he retired he was a successful banker and CEO of Golden West Financial Corporation. Galen moved to Los Angeles at age 6 with his mother, Faye Roberts, from Youngstown, Ohio, after his father died. He grew up in West Los Angeles, graduating from Fairfax High School. During World War II, he served as a bombardier in the Army Air Forces, flying missions in Europe. After the war, Galen used $12,000 in military pay to help found Lynwood Savings and Loan in 1946 with his mother, Faye Roberts, and various family members. At the same time he attended the University of Southern California Law School on the GI Bill, graduating with an LL.B. in 1951. He practiced law briefly, before focusing on a career in business, initially getting involved in homebuilding as well as the savings and loan industry.[2] In 1959 his mother and Louis formed Trans World Financial Corporation as a holding company for World Savings, and he and his mother took Trans World public. By 1960, while his mother remained chairman of the board, he became president of Lynwood Savings and Loan, changing its name to World Savings.

A dream-come-true turns into a nightmare... When Frank Hollander moves his family from a small Illinois town to Milstot, a suburb of Chicago, it seems like a lifelong dream come true. They move into a beautiful old house, the boyhood home of Chicago's most powerful business mogul - Leonard Kingsley. While moving in Frank discovers a hidden room in the attic above the garage and in that room evidence of a terrible crime. Could it be connected to a thirty-year-old cold murder case? Frank, with the help of a local police detective and a new friend with CIA connections, starts poking around to solve the case. As the evidence piles up, could the police be closing in on the real killer? Or could there be more powerful forces at work pulling the strings? Even when wheels turn slowly God is in control... Even as Frank is trying to get his family settled into their new life, the horrible history of the house is revealed. Can God really use him to help right the wrongs done so long ago? All he can do is constantly be in prayer for the case to be solved and God's will to be done. Things aren't resolved as quickly or as simply as he'd like and it is in that realization that he learns that life is run on God's timetable - not his. Frank comes to have a deeper appreciation for just how much God loves us all - even those who commit terrible crimes against others. Jay Tepe lives in Joplin, Missouri-transplanted there in 1985 due to his second job in radio. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he has lived in Cincinnati, Kansas City and St. Louis. Yep, his dad was a salesman! He is married with two college-age sons. He has been in broadcasting for over twenty-five years, both in radio and television. Jay fell in love with Jesus in 1984 and has enjoyed writing songs to glorify Him. This, however, is his first novel. He hopes to write many more!
